Each pair of Bruce+Bolt batting gloves are handmade by skilled craftsmen using only the highest quality 0.9mm Cabretta leather and stitching techniques which makes their gloves buttery soft but more durable than any other glove on the market.
Cabretta leather is the highest quality leather in the world. It offers superior “feel” and durability characteristics and it’s also unbelievably soft! So soft, players can’t believe how great these gloves feel when they first try them on. The 2020 line features 2 reinforcement areas where we saw gloves rip last year. And Bruce+Bolt gloves don’t get hard and stiff and if they do simply rub leather conditioner or mink oil inside and out and they’ll be as soft as when you bought them
Bruce+Bolt now sell more Long Cuff gloves than short cuff gloves. That’s because their design provides more support than any other batting glove. Their stabilizing cuff secures the wrist across the back of the hand and their heavy duty elastic wrap adds support and power. Their design provides protection against nagging wrist injuries while also creating a more powerful swing and unmatched wrist support at contact. It’s unlike any other glove in baseball.
They studied the human hand to understand where we could refine the design of our gloves to fit better than any other in baseball. Their fingers pinch to follow the conical shape of the human finger and their palm is curved to follow the medial articulation (the curve) of the wrist. Their design not only makes their gloves more comfortable but it also makes Bruce+Bolt gloves more durable because there isn’t any unnecessary stitching near the major wear points on the glove.
